Powell Line Metro- 2022/Design in Progress
My vision for a High Capacity Transit Corridor on SE Powell Blvd in Portland, Oregon; began through my own personal experiences utilizing the corridor on a daily basis. My ideas began by imaging what HCT could look like from the vantage point of my HCT Transit Master Plans I had created for the metropolitan area in the past.
My first iterations were outlined with a series of goals that outlined priorities I had for the corridor.
No displacement of residential areas/homes.
Create opportunities for placemaking and commerce.
Minimize impacts to roadway capacity and enhance overall pedestrian safety.

P10 | SE Powell and Milwaukie - Station Access Projects
As a key site near the central city, with connections to several transit modes; this station access project analysis calls out projected changes to roadway configurations, site usage, and a new greenway connection for pedestrian and bike infrastructure in this site area.
P10 | SE Powell and Milwaukie Station - conceptual design
This design fuses together lumber and grey masonry to convey the story of this industrial and residential area of the corridor.
P11 | SE Powell and 28th
This station sites atop two former fast food establishments. The split design is intended to create a safe link for pedestrians and cyclists by unifying Powell. There is a bike parking station and cafe space built into the station.
P13 | SE Powell and Foster
This station lies on an underdevopled lot currently occupied by a fast food restraunt. The master plan for this site incorporates new development opportunities adjacent to a new community plaza.
P14 | SE Powell and 65th
This station is designed as as separated split platform concourse. The form of this station was intended to fit above the ROW of the main arterial highway and the narrow existing parking lots adjacent to the traffic corridor.

P16 | SE Powell and 92nd
This is a major transfer point between planned line A & the P Line Monorail. The station is multi level and contains various points of entry from the street level, bike level, and various platform levels. The height is needed to pass over I-205, which lies east of the station site.
