Rose Quarter Gondola Station
Rose Quarter Gondola Station - 2018
Rising out of the ground like a bird emerging from its nest, my gondola station for the Rose Quarter Transit Center aimed to create a unique and impactful beacon that symbolized a re-uniting of the fragmented Lower Albina neighborhood.
I utilized study models to frame my vision for this symbol as I iterated with minimal use of drawings and sketches, instead opting for understanding the structures impact in a physical form.
